ABOUT THE CYBER REBOOT LAB
Reimagining defenses that increase the cost and complexity for our adversaries…
…while reducing it for our defenders.

Cybersecurity remains a top problem
Cybersecurity has shifted from back room theory to board room agenda. Massive data losses, theft of intellectual property, credit card breaches, ransomware attacks, identity theft, threats to our privacy, and denial of service attacks all continue unabated.
Our nation will not hire our way out of this problem or spend our way out of this threat
While adversaries will continue to advance, the requests for increased budgets, larger headcounts, and additional authorities will not overcome the challenges in this space. The hard truth is that the current approaches to solving the growing cybersecurity threats are not working. We need to fundamentally change how the nation thinks about and addresses this challenge.

Organizations must have the ability to rapidly and effectively take action at speeds and scales not yet seen
The business complexity and growth of the number of users, network scale, outside interdependencies, dynamic pace of technology changes, and mobility trends all contribute to a lack of coordinated priorities and unclear decisions.
To secure today’s digital assets modern organizations must know:
- What digital assets they have
- Who is accessing those assets, and what those assets are doing
- When unacceptable risks to those assets arise
- How and when to take action
